Good morning starshine.... the earth says "Hello!" ...

Ok, so I woke up with the soundtrack to Hair going through my head. It beats yesterday where I woke up from a dream where I was being asked to identify cabbages in a police lineup. ...You know... my brain has never been quite right, but... normal is boring and quite frankly, over rated.

I still say it was a damn good musical. My high school actually did a very heavily censored version of it in like 1988 or something. It was funny because it made absolutely no sense at all. It was all acid-trip lighting and tie dye. I believe it even said B.Y.O.D.&P. (bring your own drugs and patchouli) on the playbill.

If you've never seen the movie... um... maybe you should wait until it comes on TCM or something. It's interesting. Hell, I'd spend the rest of my life strapped in a chair with my eyelids taped open, watching Hair rather than see Westside Story again. *vomit* At least Hair almost made sense. There was a war... the war was fucked up... rich kids and poor kids alike were really into smelling bad and living on the streets. There were drugs... lot's of drugs. Um... and Nell Carter. Yeah.. that was the best part. Nell Carter was there singing her big, fat, black ass off. That woman could sing, like ....almost violently. I'm just saying... I'd have stayed out of her way. *insert Joey Lawrence "whoa!" here*

I sing the "Donna" song to Tummy using his name instead of hers, but then get sidetracked by the fellatio song or even the Claude Hooper Bukowski/Manchester, England parts. I love all those songs.

Hooooooooow can people have no feelings? How can they ignore their friends? Easy to be proud. Easy to say no. ...

And especially people
who care about strangers...
who care about evil
and social injustice...
Do you only
Care about the bleeding crowd?
How about a needing friend?
I need a friend.
